Whenever I think about bohemian brides, I think about beautiful lace gowns, don’t you?
Yesterday, while I was getting my Etsy fix for the day I ran into “Lost in Paris” a one of a kind custom wedding dress shop based in Sydney, Australia.
Their wedding dresses are ethically hand crafted with salvaged and restored vintage laced in their studio, and most of their lace comes from France. My favorite part is that they can accommodate any international brides and plus size gals. Their online shop showcases just a bit of their stunning designs, because guess what? they can custom design a wedding dress just for you! How great is this? Particularly, when we all know how stressful planning a wedding can be, there is so much that needs to be considered. First the wedding venue, maybe you’ve taken a look at something like this sodo wedding venue, then there’s the food, the guests etc. . . For a bride, the wedding dress might be the most important part.
Here it is more from the designer:
It’s not about us. It’s about the lace and the artisans who created it. Made on 100 year old machines no longer in operation, or made by hand, steeped with love from somebody’s Nana, perhaps long passed.
A piece of rare cotton, preserved and treasured, passed down through time to you, the final step in it’s journey. Each piece is laced with history and has a story to tell.
Whether you are a free-spirited bride, not afraid to wear an unconventional wedding dress, or you are a vintage devotee, who doesn’t have the required 26 inch waist, we can offer you a one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality dress which you will cherish for years to come.
All of our dresses are hand-made from antique lace by our team in our Sydney studio, then shipped to customers all over the world.
